Data Storage Infrastructure
Storage and backup built to your recovery targets.
We source and configure on-premises storage, cloud-connected backup appliances, and tape solutions. Every deployment is spec'd against your retention policy and recovery time objectives — not a default configuration that might be fine.
NAS and SAN storage
Network-attached storage from Synology and QNAP for file sharing, media, and backup target workloads. SAN infrastructure over iSCSI or Fibre Channel for virtualization and database environments. We configure RAID, replication, and snapshot schedules before the unit ships — you plug it in and it works.
Backup appliances
Dedicated backup appliances with deduplication, compression, and cloud offload to keep on-premises retention manageable. We configure backup jobs, retention policies, and offsite replication before delivery. You get a tested backup system, not a box you spend a week configuring after it arrives.
Veeam and backup software integration
We configure Veeam Backup and Replication, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, and Windows Server Backup as part of storage infrastructure projects. Backup software and the target hardware are scoped and configured together — no gaps between what the software expects and what the hardware delivers.
Retention and compliance
If your industry has data retention requirements, we design the storage and backup architecture to meet them. Immutable backup storage, air-gapped copies, and documented recovery testing are all options. We do not guess at your compliance requirements — we ask, then design.
Common questions
What backup vendors do you work with?
Veeam is our primary recommendation for on-premises and hybrid workloads. Acronis and Windows Server Backup are available for environments where Veeam licensing is not practical. We match the software to the workload and budget.
Can you set up cloud backup in addition to on-premises?
Yes. We configure cloud backup targets to Azure Blob, Backblaze B2, or Wasabi alongside on-premises appliances. A 3-2-1 backup design — three copies, two media types, one offsite — is the baseline we recommend for most environments.
Do you test backups after deployment?
Yes. We run a documented restore test before turning the backup system over — not a checkbox on a form but an actual data recovery verification. You get a written record of what was tested and what restored successfully.
How do I know my storage is sized correctly?
We gather your current data volumes, growth rate, and retention requirements before we quote. Undersized storage on a backup appliance is a common failure point — we size for your actual retention policy, not the smallest appliance that fits your current data.
