What we protect
Servers (physical and virtual), workstations, Microsoft 365 mailboxes and SharePoint, and critical cloud data. Every source gets a retention policy that matches your business needs — daily, weekly, and monthly restore points so you can go back to the right moment, not just yesterday.
Local + offsite + cloud
The 3-2-1 rule still holds: three copies, two different media types, one offsite. We implement local appliance backups for fast restores, replicated to a secondary data center or cloud target for disaster scenarios. Recovery from ransomware shouldn't mean waiting two days for a cloud download.
Monitored and tested
We get alerted when a backup job fails — not you. Monthly test restores verify that your backups are actually recoverable. We document the test results and present them in quarterly reviews, so you have evidence of your recovery capability, not just an assumption.
Recovery time and recovery point
RTO (how long to restore) and RPO (how much data you can afford to lose) are set at the start of engagement. We engineer the backup architecture to meet those targets, not the other way around.
Common questions
We already have Microsoft 365 — doesn't that back up our email?
No. Microsoft 365 provides high availability — it keeps your data accessible — but it's not a backup. Deleted emails are recoverable only within short retention windows. A separate backup solution is required to meet typical business or compliance recovery needs.
How long does a full restore take?
That depends on what failed and how your backup is architected. A single server restore from a local appliance can be under two hours. A full site disaster from cloud-only backup can take days. That's why we right-size the architecture to your actual RTO requirement at the start.
Can you recover from ransomware?
If your backup targets are isolated from the production network (which ours are), ransomware can't encrypt them. We restore from the last clean point, which may be the previous day or earlier depending on when the infection began.
Do you manage backups for cloud workloads and SaaS?
Yes — Microsoft 365, Azure workloads, and other SaaS platforms we commonly see in client environments. The data living in the cloud doesn't mean the vendor backs it up to your specifications.
